Now that we have completed the China inventions project, students will now look at there next chapter, which is ancient Rome. The goal is to have students begin on their vocabulary for ancient Rome by Thursday and have it completed and checked off by Friday at the end of class. Here are the vocabulary words the students will need to know.
plebeian, patrician, triumvirate, proconsul, consul, republic, Punic Wars, and Pax Romana
Students should have written down the word, definition, and an image that shows a connection they've made to the word.
Additionally, students will take an open notes quiz from their textbook as their China assessment. This should be completed by Thursday, 3/9/17
